Biblicist.org - Theological Library To Order, enter a couple of keywords in the search window |
| This Theological Library represents some of the very best Christian books available to the Believer for personal Bible study. Some of these titles may not be available at your local Christian bookstore since the demand for them today is not great, the typical Believer is simply not engaged in studying the Scriptures. Serious personal Bible study on a scholarly level is essential if a Believer is to "grow in the Grace and Knowledge of our savior Jesus Christ." |

Chafer's monumental classic in the field of theology was the first consistently Premillennial theology written, it is the old standard Dispensational reference and it is also the best.
This is easily the best one volume doctrinal survey available, perfect for teaching groups the basics in theology.
A one volume comprehensive introduction to systematic theology that is worth having in your library.
Written in plain English, this one volume theology covers all of the basics and with illustrations.
An old standard from the covenant and reformed view.
This standard covenant amillennial theology in the reformed tradition is excellent. Though he is very weak
in eschatology and ecclesiology, his outlines and analysis of other topics are well done
Regarded by many as one of the very best commentaries on Genesis, The Genesis Record is both scientific and devotional.
Written by a creationist scientist, it can easily be understood by both laymen and
the theologically trained.
Sir Robert Anderson of Scotland Yard spent many years authenticating the famous prophecy of the 70 weeks of Daniel 9:27. This work is one of
the most amazing verifications that the Bible is indeed the Word of God.
Another great book for a basic study of the prophetic book of Daniel.
Like Walvoord's commentary on Revelation, Daniel has also become a standard work.
Feinberg is an able Hebrew scholar and former Rabbinical student who has produced a definitive work.
Feinberg's commentary on the Minor Prophets are the best around, the study includes full treatment of the historical and cultural settings of each of the twelve prophets and their writings.
Born in Russia in 1885, David Baron was brought up in a strict, devout Jewish family.
He underwent the rigorous training in the Old Testament under the Rabbinical influence, a training
which produced in him the terrible frustration that came from a knowledge of falling short
of God's law. Following his desperate search of the Scriptures and subsequent conversion to Christianity,
Baron determined for himself a two-fold ministry: to explain the truth of Christianity to Jews
and to educate Christians regarding Israel.
Newell's commentary is a classic for understanding the doctrinal content of Romans, it can hardly be equalled.
Here we have probably the best book on Prophecy ever written. This complete work in Biblical Escatology is massive yet easy to read and understand.
This volume is designed to serve those who have little or no knowledge of the Greek and Hebrew as well as the scholar. It is at once a dictionary, a concordance and
a commentary in one volume. The student need not wonder again about the meaning of the original Greek or Hebrew.
This is an essential volume for any serious student of theology and the Bible. Defined and listed alphabetically are Biblical and theological terms important in contemporary and historical theology.
Nave's Topical Bible presents more than 20,000 topics and subtopics and groups all related Scriptures to them. Need to know all the verses which speak of the humanity of
Christ? No problem, look under JESUS, THE CHRIST -- HUMANITY OF: The work has been done for you.
This Bible handbook is packed with information valuable to the Bible student. Not only commentary on the Books of the Bible but also photo illustrations, archeological notes, maps, outlines, chronologies,
as well as articles on how we got the Bible and Church history. Halley does not present the Premillennial Dispensation view so his
commentary on some eschatological Scripture, i.e., the Book of Revelation, is not too accurate.
